The Braava jet isdesigned to wet mop, damp sweep, and dry sweep hard floors, i.e. it can do three types of cleaning, wet/damp/dry, depending on the cleaning pad you choose. With the dry pad, Braava jet moves in a straight path, back and forth in the room, picking up dust and debris. For damp and wet mopping, the unit needs to be filled with tap water. While damp mopping, Braava jet sprays a little water and cleans back and forth in a two-pass motion.In wet mop mode, it sprays water mops like you would – in a triple pass motion, moving left, right and forwards.
